• *   "......ಸಾವನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿ ಚಿರಕಾಲ ಬದುಕಿ......" :-  ನನಗನಿಸುತ್ತೆ ಇನ್ನುಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ವೈದ್ಯರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಲಸವೇ ಸಿಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ/ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು! ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೆ ಇದ್ದು-ಸತ್ತು ಹೋಗಿರುವ ವ್ಯಾಟಿಕನ್ನಿನ ಪೋಪರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಎಲ್ಲಿ?

• *   "......ಕಾಲ, ಗುಣ, ಸ್ಥಳ, ಜನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬದಲಾಗಬಹುದು ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಬದಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ......" :-  ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ... ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ತಾನು ಬದುಕಿರುವವರೆಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಆಗಲು ಮತ್ತು ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ.

• *   "......ಸ್ವರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವರು ನಮಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ....." :-  ವಾಸ್ತವದಲ್ಲಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವೇ ನಾವು ಪ್ರತೀ ಘಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಆಯ್ಕೆಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ. ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ನಿದ್ದೆಯಿಂದ ಎದ್ದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಶುರುವಾಗಿ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಮರಳಿ ನಿದ್ದೆಗೆ ಜಾರುವವರೆಗೂ ಪ್ರತೀಕ್ಷಣ ಜೀವನ ಆಯ್ಕೆಗಳ ಆಟವಾಗಿದೆ. "ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆಮಾಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅನಿಯಮಿತವಾಗಿ ಆನಂದಿಸಿ" - ಇದು ಜನರನ್ನು ಮೂರ್ಖರನ್ನಾಗಿಸಲು ಮಾರಾಟಮಾಡಿದ ಭ್ರಮೆ ಅಷ್ಟೆ.

This is how Christian missionaries are trying to convert people using meaningless claims.

When I saw these in one of the WhatsApp groups, below is what I replied them:

I don't think they're valid claims!
Because...

• *   "......We're all going to hell......" :-  I believe, we all go to heaven or hell based on our works.

• *   "......God came and died for us......" :-  In reality, God need not have to die to save his creatures. He will save us without dying also.

• *   "......Jesus is the ONLY SAVIOR......" :-  I agree if you say Jesus is also one of the many avatars of God. I disagree if you force me to believe that only Jesus is the God or avatar of God. It is not like someone will go to heaven just because he/she becomes a Christian. And someone will go to hell just because he/she is not a Christian or opposes to convert to Chrstianity (a caste created in the name of Jesus centuries after his death).

• *   "......Jesus is coming back soon......" :-  Not exactly Jesus, but another avatar of God will be born if human exceeds his limits.

• *   "......Believe in Jesus as only God......" :-  Well, what about good people who lived before Jesus? Will they go to hell simply because they were not Christians? Will they go to hell simply because they do not know Jesus?

• *   "......Defeat death and live forever......" :-  I think physicians/doctors have no jobs anymore! Were are the popes of Vatican who died so far?

• *   "......Time, Design, Place, People Change But Jesus Christ is the same......" :-  Obviously... One can change or expect to change only as long as he/she is alive.

• *   "......God in heaven gave us a choice......" :-  In fact, our life itself is full of the choices we make every single moment. Right from we wake up in the morning till we go back to sleep at night, every single moment is a game of choice. "Choose for once and enjoy forever" - is just an illusion sold to fool the people.

So just be good, do good, live good.

It is not necessary to follow a specific caste.
Because ultimate supreme God doesn't belong to any caste of this world.

And all those claims are made just to attract/scare/fool the people and convert them.

                  Shavan Bhattacharjee is an immigrant to the state of Karnataka like many others. However, what sets him apart is his open heart and a practical mind. He is the kind of a Bharatian who respects every differences this nation carries.

                  Many people (not only Bharatians but also some foreigners) cry when it comes to learning Kannada when they land in Karnataka or when they plan to move to Karnataka. Their common claim would be 'why should i learn Kannada when i know Hindi or English'. But they don't mind spending months or years learning some alien/foreign language (including English).

                  It is not only about Hindi speaking people from northern states of Bharata but anyone who migrates to Karnataka and oppose to learn Kannada and expect Kannadigas to communicate in their language or Hindi or English for various reasons.

                  It is about those immigrants who think that it is ok if they do not learn Kannada even after living here for more than a year but it is not ok if a Kannadiga uses Kannada instead of Hindi/English/etc while communicating with immigrants in Karnataka!

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಕೊಡಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಂಭದ್ರೋಣ ಮಳೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ವಿಕೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಜನಜೀವನ ಅಸ್ಥವ್ಯಸ್ಥವಾದಾಗ ಹಳತು ಹೊನ್ನುವಿನ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಿಗೆ ಪೇಟಿಎಂಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದ್ದ "ದೇಣಿಗೆ" ವಿಭಾಗದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅರಿವುಮೂಡಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಆ ಮೂಲಕ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತ ಮೂಲಗಳಿಂದ ನೆರೆ ಸಂತ್ರಸ್ತರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡುವುದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಸರಳವಾಗಿದೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಂದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೆವು.
ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಜನ ಆಗ ನಾವು ಕಳಿಸಿದ್ದ ಸಂದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪೇಟಿಎಂ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ, "ಪೇಟಿಎಂಅನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಸುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ" ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳಿಸಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ಅದರ ಪರಿಣಾಮವಾಗಿಯೇ ಇಂದಿನ ಈ ಲೇಖನ :)
